KTH School of Architecture Strengthening Ties with U.S. Universities

In April, a four person delegation from the KTH School of Architecture visited The Cooper Union, Pratt, Columbia, CCNY, Parsons, Yale, Harvard, MIT, University of Pennsylvania, and Princeton in the Atlantic North-East. The purpose of the trip was to deepen existing relationships, identify potential new collaborations, and initiate exchanges at student, faculty, and staff levels.

"Our common objective is meeting the growing global need for sustainable urban development and Sweden already has a good reputation in this field. Following our meetings, Harvard and UPenn representatives expressed the intention of turning to Sweden and KTH for solutions. We look forward to developing further collaborations with them in this pursuit," says Head of the KTH School of Architecture Erik Stenberg.

The KTH School of Architecture offers 11 master level studios; all taking different perspectives on sustainability from architectural design to planning. The school also co-offers a Master's level program in Sustainable Urban Planning and Design. Click here for more information.
