LEED Gold Certification of the ASRC was achieved through the incorporation of sustainable design and construction practices and strategies. Some of these features include: Water usage is reduced by over 85 per cent; rainwater from the roof is captured, stored and reused on site; daylight-controlled electric light fixtures turn off when daylight conditions are sufficient for the task or space use.
